Field note
How to merge, clean, and edit an OPML feed list
Choose one or many OPML exports. Siftlet reads nested outline elements, combines their trees, repairs stray ampersands that break XML imports, and builds a searchable feed and folder list without checking any URL over the network.
Duplicate cleanup keeps the first feed with each normalized URL and removes later copies. HTTP and HTTPS versions of the same feed count as a match; names alone do not. Known analytics parameters such as UTM and click identifiers can be removed separately without deleting ordinary feed query parameters.
Edit names and URLs before export, or paste new RSS and Atom URLs into an Added feeds folder. Clean OPML is the migration copy for a reader or podcast app. CSV, JSON and the plain URL list work well for audits, spreadsheets and backups. Supported phones can open the system share sheet.
